Lurch Blankenburg Flexi® Royal Silicone Baking Mold
During the life of Ernst August, King of Hanover and Duke of Cumberland, the royal chefs would bake elaborate cakes using solid copper baking pans. During an auction at Castle Marienburg, LURCH was able to win the bid for these 200-year-old baking pans. We have now re-produced them exclusively using 100% platinum silicone. Set your own royal coffee table! Use your original Guelph baking pans provided by LURCH and experience a piece of German royal history.
With FLEXI®ROYAL - Guelph pans, LURCH is presenting a piece of German history for the regional bakery. During Sotheby's auction at the Marienburg Castle, an event that received international attention, the Welfen Family auctioned off historically significant art and utility items from their century-old estate in September 2005. The proceeds of the auction are benefiting the preservation of the Marienburg Castle as an important cultural heritage. LURCH succeeded in winning the bids on selected copper items and is producing three of the most attractive baking pans from these exclusively for its customers, in the form of original reproductions from silicone. FLEXI®ROYAL shows pans from the period of Ernst August, the King of Hanover and Duke of Cumberland (1771 - 1851).
Through the use of 100% platinum silicone in the Guelph design, LURCH is expertly combining history with modernity and offers hobby pastry chefs the first opportunity to enrich the regional coffee table with royal glamour. Of course, all FLEXI®ROYAL forms are manufactured with the customary LURCH quality and have a warranty of 15 years. |
