ABOUT RUBBERWOOD
Rubberwood is cut at the end of the latex-producing tree's life - approximately 30 years.
When the tree is cut and harvested for timber use, a new tree is planted in its place. The
rubberwood in our chopping blocks comes from Malaysia, which is one of the largest
producers of rubber in the world. Rubberwood is widely recognized as a sustainable and
environmentally friendly timber resource.
USE & CARE
INSTRUCTIONS
Before first use, scrub thoroughly with hot water and soap.
Use food grade mineral oil to ''season'' the board
- once a day for the first week
- once a week for the first month
- once a month after that or as needed.
Always clean the cutting surface after board comes into contact with food - especially raw
meat or poultry. Use hot water and soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately. |
