A high-powered 1500-watt heating element brings up to 2 liters of water to a rapid boil in mere minutes; after which the kettle can be lifted off the base completely cord-free for maximum portability and unrestricted pouring.

The non-slip power base allows the kettle to swivel 360 degrees in either direction to accommodate right or left-handed users.
